ATX FISHING

My name is Carson. Conklin, and I’m proud to say I was born and raised right here in Austin, Texas. The lakes, rivers, and hidden honey holes around Central Texas aren’t just fishing spots to me, they’re home. I’ve been fishing these waters since I was a kid. What started as time on the bank with a rod and reel turned into a lifelong passion for bass fishing. Over the years, I’ve spent countless early mornings and long Texas evenings learning patterns, structure, seasonal movements, and the little details that make the difference between getting skunked and landing a personal best. Bass fishing isn’t just a hobby for me, it’s something I genuinely love sharing with others. When I’m not on the water, I serve as a full-time firefighter here in our community. Being a firefighter has shaped who I am — discipline, patience, preparation, and staying calm under pressure. Those same qualities carry over into how I fish and how I guide others on the water.
